Faheem Abdullah is a multidisciplinary artiste from Srinagar, India. He made his debut as a singer-songwriter in 2020 with his single Jhelum, and since then, he has been exploring different genres such as Blues, Psychedelic Rock, Dream Pop, Funk, R&B Soul, Sufi Rock, and Ghazal. As an artist, he believes in absolute freedom of speech and expression, and he thinks that an artist can bring positive change. He is highly inspired by his homeland, and his singing and songwriting is influenced by Kashmiri music and literature.
Music is very important to me. It has been my companion since childhood, and it has made me feel more than any living being has. My connection with music is on a deeper spiritual level, and I believe that it is an effort to please God in my own way that makes me do music. My music is a conscious choice, even if it is subconsciously done.
